Why McAfee Got Installation error 

the problem usually comes in view is "Unable to continue installation. Error 0"

IT happens
When you attempt to install the McAfee Windows Security Suite, the installation fails and the installer displays a red banner with either of the following error messages:

  "Unable to Continue Installation" OR "Something went wrong with the installation" 
first you must check for the system compatibility for McAfee . if you find everything is fine you can try following process.
usually this problems are solved if you restart your installation process or you can try cleaning junk files and removing old antivirus product if any.
if you still face any issue you can try

   PreInstall tool you can try Run the preinstall tool if you still face any issue after running Virtual Assistant.
  1. Download the Pre-Install Tool.
    NOTE: Save the file to a temporary location, such as your desktop.
  1. Double-click the Pre-Install_Tool.exe file, and follow the prompts.
  2. Read the warning message, and click OK to agree to the changes.
  3. After the Preinstall Tool completes:
    1. Click OK.
    2. Click Close.
    3. Restart your computer.
  1. When your computer restarts, try to install your McAfee product again.
  2. Proceed to the next Solution if the installation fails again.

    "Run McAfee Virtual Technician"
     
The Virtual Technician can fix many different issues with McAfee Products.
  1. To start, go to the Troubleshoot and Repair page.
  2. Click Download and Run.
  3. Save the mvt.exe file to your desktop if prompted.
  4. Double-click mvt.exe (or click Run) to start MVT.
  5. Click Yes if you are asked by Windows User Account Control to allow MVT to run.
  6. Wait for MVT to install, initialize, and update. This might take a few minutes.
    MVT then scans your PC for issues with your McAfee product.
  7. and try to install it at mcafee.com/activate 
  8. If any issues are found:
    1. Choose Autofix, and follow the prompts to let MVT fix the problem.
    2. If MVT cannot fix the problem, contact Technical Support.
       
  9. If no issues are found, close MVT. 
or you can try to install it at mcafee.com/activate
Proceed to the installation again. and if still problem persists you can try to free tech support .
